For co-existence, (bio)diversity and justice in conservation

Elisa Van Dijk

Elisa recently graduated with a BSc in Earth, Energy, and Sustainability from Leiden University College in The Netherlands. During her studies, she interned for the Dutch Institute of Nature Education and volunteered as a research assistant to edit and publish Sand&Peat / Zand&Veen, a new anthology of research, writing, and art about human-environment relations in The Hague. She is passionate about political ecology, outreach and communications, and the philosophy of human-nature connection. Ultimately, she is motivated by learning how science and other disciplines intersect to provide transformative approaches to conservation. Alongside her academic interests, Elisa also studies classical voice and especially enjoys choral singing.
